Paint delivery in Nairobi & across Kenya
Metro dispatch for homes and contractor sites, with regular Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado drops — and longer Kenya routes when the order size justifies the trip.
Get paint to site without losing a painting day
Buying the right Crown Vinylsilk shade means little if the drums sit in traffic while your crew waits. Metumi Paints Centre runs practical paint delivery in Kenya from Nairobi: confirmed orders, tinted and labelled where needed, then dropped at estates, offices and active construction sites. This page explains coverage, cutoffs, what we need from you, and how delivery pairs with bulk quotes and colour tinting.
Nairobi metro coverage
We routinely dispatch inside Nairobi County and the immediate metro fringe. Share a Google pin or clear landmark — “near Yaya”, “Syokimau Railway”, “opposite ABC Place” — plus gate or floor access notes. Common drop patterns include:
- West & parklands belt — Westlands, Parklands, Spring Valley, Lavington, Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Hurlingham.
- South & langata — Langata, Karen, Ngong Road corridor, South C, South B, Nairobi West.
- East & industrial — Industrial Area, Embakasi, Donholm, Pipeline, Utawala, Ruai approaches.
- North & bypass — Parklands north, Kasarani, Roysambu, Thika Road estates, Ruaka / Runda fringe.
- Eastern metro towns — Syokimau, Mlolongo, Athi River (often same logistics conversation as Machakos corridor).
High-rise deliveries need a working lift or enough hands for 20L drums. Rough sites should name a receiving person with a phone that answers — we will not leave paint at an unmanned gate.
Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado and beyond
Satellite sites are normal for Nairobi contractors. We regularly arrange drops toward Kiambu town, Ruiru, Juja, Thika road developments, Kitengela, Isinya, Ongata Rongai, Ngong and similar Kajiado / Machakos locations. Fees reflect distance, load and whether the trip combines with other drops that day.
Longer Kenya routes — Nakuru, Naivasha, Mombasa road corridors, Kisumu and other towns — are available by arrangement when drum volume makes the trip sensible. Say the destination early so we can price transport honestly against the paint value.
How to book a delivery
- Confirm the product list and KES total (catalogue checkout conversation or quote).
- Add chart codes if tinting is required — we will not dispatch “cream” without a code if you need a matchable shade.
- WhatsApp +254 759 169 436 with: delivery pin, contact name, phone, preferred date/time window, drum count, and access notes (estate security, floor, site road).
- Pay as agreed (M-Pesa, cash, bank transfer). Dispatch follows payment confirmation unless you have an approved contractor arrangement.
- Be reachable on the drop window. If security delays entry, have a Plan B receiving point.
Trading desk hours are Monday–Saturday, 8AM–6PM. Same-day metro drops usually need confirmation earlier in the day; heavy tint batches and multi-site routes are scheduled for morning slots when traffic is kinder.
What travels well (and what needs care)
Emulsion drums, primers, sealers, gloss tins, fillers and accessories all ship. Keep tins upright. Freshly tinted product should stay sealed until the painters open it on the prepared wall. Solvents and thinners travel with the same order when listed — declare them so packing is safe. We label tinted drums with formula references so snag packs three weeks later still match.
Delivery fees and free-threshold honesty
There is no universal “free delivery everywhere in Kenya” promise that survives fuel prices and a Kitengela dirt road. We quote delivery in KES based on pin, load and urgency. Larger bulk orders often absorb or reduce the fee — ask when you send the list. Small single-tin residential orders may be cheaper as customer pickup during shopping hours.
Contractor multi-drop logistics
Running five sites? Send a drop matrix: site name, pin, products per site, shade codes, receiving contacts. We can stage releases so Block A gets week-one emulsion while Block B’s exterior waits on scaffolding. Phased dispatch prevents wrong shades landing on the wrong floor — a surprisingly common Nairobi snag.
Pickup remains available
Many painters still prefer collecting from Metumi when they are already buying tools or checking a sample wall colour in daylight. Pickup is always an option during Mon–Sat hours. Combine a showroom tint check with loading your own vehicle when that is faster than waiting on a van in jam.
Pair delivery with the rest of the stack
Browse live stock on products, lock shades via colour charts, compare Crown, DuraCoat and Plascon, and read buy paint in Nairobi plus paint prices Kenya before you commit drums. Questions on hours, M-Pesa or returns sit on the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver paint in Nairobi?
Yes. Nairobi metro delivery is available for catalogue and tinted orders. Share your estate or site pin on WhatsApp +254 759 169 436 for a dispatch slot and KES delivery fee.
Which areas outside Nairobi do you cover?
Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado sites are arranged regularly. Longer Kenya routes (e.g. Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu corridors) are priced per trip against order size.
How fast is paint delivery?
Many Nairobi metro drops are same-day or next working day when stock is on hand and the order is confirmed before cutoff. Tinting batches and heavy drum loads may need a scheduled morning slot.
Can you deliver tinted drums to site?
Yes. We tint to Crown and DuraCoat chart codes, label drums, and drop to the site address you provide. Keep formula stickers for future touch-ups.
How is delivery priced?
Delivery fees depend on distance, load size and access (estate gate, high-rise, rough site road). Confirm on WhatsApp with your pin and drum count before we dispatch.
Do you deliver on Sundays?
Standard dispatch planning follows Monday–Saturday trading. Sunday drops are exceptional and must be agreed in advance — do not assume weekend vans.
What if I am not on site when the van arrives?
Name a receiving person and backup number. Unmanned gates delay everyone. If you miss the window we will reschedule; repeated no-shows may incur a second-trip fee.
